How to Register on Binance After Downloading the App
Many people prefer doing everything on their phones, and after downloading the Binance app, they are not sure how to register. The good news is that registering on the app is actually easier and faster than on a computer — the whole process takes just a few minutes. If you have not downloaded the app yet, you can get the download link from the Binance official website, or download the Binance official app directly. The installation process for iPhone users is a bit different, so check the iOS installation guide first.
The First Screen After Opening the App
When you open the Binance app for the first time, you will see a welcome screen with typically two buttons:
- Log In: For users who already have an account
- Register / Sign Up: For new users
If the interface is in a language you do not understand, do not worry — we will cover how to change it later. For now, tap the Register button.
Detailed Registration Steps on the App
Step One: Choose Your Registration Method
After tapping Register, you will be asked whether you want to sign up with an email address or a phone number. Either method works. We will demonstrate using email registration here.
Step Two: Enter Your Email
Type your email address into the input field. Double-check that you have not made any typos, as this email will be your login credential going forward. Gmail or Outlook email addresses are recommended.
Step Three: Set Your Password
Create a secure password. Binance's password requirements include:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
Adding special characters (such as !@#$) is also recommended for stronger security.
Step Four: Enter a Referral Code (Optional)
If you have a referral code, you can enter it here. If not, simply skip this step. Referral codes may provide you with trading fee discounts.
Step Five: Accept the Terms
Check the box to agree to Binance's terms of service and privacy policy. It is worth reading through these when you have time to understand your rights and responsibilities.
Step Six: Complete the CAPTCHA
The app's CAPTCHA verification is typically a sliding puzzle or image selection challenge. Follow the on-screen instructions:
- Sliding puzzle: Drag the puzzle piece to the correct position
- Image/text selection: Tap the specified images or text in the required order
Step Seven: Enter the Email Verification Code
After passing the CAPTCHA, the system will send a verification code to your email. Open your email app, find the code, and enter it back in the Binance app.
Note that verification codes have a time limit, usually 10 minutes. If the code is about to expire, you can tap to resend a new one.
Step Eight: Registration Complete
After entering the correct verification code, your registration is finished. The app will automatically redirect you to the main interface.
What to Do After Registration on the App
Switch to Your Preferred Language
If the app defaults to a language you are not comfortable with:
- Tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner
- Find Settings
- Look for Language
- Select your preferred language
- The interface updates immediately
Complete Identity Verification
Completing KYC verification on the app is more convenient than on a computer because your phone's camera is readily available:
- Tap your profile icon to enter your personal center
- Find "Identity Verification"
- Select your document type (national ID or passport)
- Use your phone to photograph the front and back of your document
- Complete the facial recognition step (just follow the on-screen prompts)
- Submit and wait for review
Set Up Security Verification
The path to setting up security features on the app:
- Tap your profile icon, then go to Security Settings
- Bind your phone number (if you registered with email)
- Set up Google Authenticator
- Configure your anti-phishing code
Differences Between App and Web Registration
There are no functional differences whatsoever — only the interface layout differs. The advantages of registering on the app include:
- Easier photo capture: When completing KYC, you can take photos directly with your phone camera instead of uploading files separately
- Smoother facial recognition: The phone's front-facing camera handles facial recognition better than most computer webcams
- Convenient follow-up: After registration, you can immediately start trading and checking prices on the same device
- Push notifications: The app can send you price alerts, security notifications, and other important push messages
Common Issues During App Registration
App Will Not Open After Installation
- Android: You may need to allow installation from unknown sources in your settings
- iPhone: You may need to trust the enterprise certificate in your settings
Registration Page Will Not Load
- Check that your internet connection is working
- Close the app completely and reopen it
- Make sure the app is updated to the latest version
Not Receiving the Verification Code
- Check your email spam or junk folder

- Wait a few minutes and try resending
CAPTCHA Keeps Failing
- Ensure the app has camera permissions (some CAPTCHAs require this)
- Your network connection needs to be stable for verification images to load
- Try a few more times — sometimes it is a server-side issue
Registration Succeeded but Cannot Access the Main Page
- Close the app completely and reopen it
- Check if the app version is outdated
- Clear the app cache and try again
Security Reminder
Using Binance on your phone requires the same security awareness as any other platform:
- Only download the app from official channels — never from unfamiliar websites
- Set up a lock screen password or fingerprint unlock on your phone
- Do not use the app on rooted Android phones or jailbroken iPhones
- Avoid performing any financial operations while connected to public Wi-Fi
- Keep the app updated to the latest version to patch security vulnerabilities
- Never share screenshots from the Binance app — especially those showing assets or security keys — with anyone
You should now have successfully registered your Binance account on the app. The recommended next steps are to complete your security settings and identity verification, and then you are ready to begin your cryptocurrency journey. If you encounter any issues, you can find live customer support within the app, or visit the Help Center on the Binance official website for answers.
